The competition team is composed of club members who wish to explore the competitive aspects of Taekwondo. Trent Taekwondo competes at Ontario Taekwondo Association sanctioned events about twice a year or more depending on tournament scheduling. Competition classes are held weekly at various locations to prepare interested students for tournaments. All students are welcome to become part of the Trent Taekwondo Competition Team.

The Competition team is managed and coached by Mr. Johnson assisted by the club black belts.

The demonstration team is called upon to perform demonstrations of the various aspects of modern Taekwondo practice once or twice a year. The team requires any member of Trent Taekwondo at all experience levels to perform at opening ceremonies, multi-cultural displays and other public functions. What members must do is have a desire to bring their ability and enthusiasm and to show off the aforementioned aspects of Taekwondo. The team is open to all skill and experience levels and all who wish to participate are encouraged to do so. The demonstration team also instructs self-defense seminars to any group that request it.
